French’s new Infusers, making grilling a little easier.

The new French’s Flavor Infusers are easy to use, you don’t have to mess with plastic bags that sometimes break and leak. These infusers help ensure that your recipes get great flavor in a no-mess manner. The directions are easy just pop the cap, instill the infuser tip and press the flavorful marinate into your steaks, fish, pork and chicken dishes. You should insert your marinate into your proteins in several different areas so you get the maximum flavor that you desire. If you have remaining marinate you can squeeze it over top of your proteins, let the meat stand for about 10 minutes, then cook it.

When you insert the infuser deep into your proteins, you get delicious flavor that will be distributed evenly throughout whatever protein you are cooking that day. There is enough marinade in the flavor infuser to marinade about 3-4 pounds of proteins.

French’s Flavor Infusers come in four different flavors: Classic Steakhouse, Sweet & Tangy Teriyaki, Zesty Italian and Caribbean Jerk. You can purchase these infusers for around $2.99, a bottle. Of course, you might be able to find coupons or find them on sale at your local grocers, but even at $2.99 they are definitely worth it.

How Do Americans Get Most Of Their Calories?

Americans spend around a trillion dollars a year on food. In addition, about half the money that Americans spend on food in spent outside of the home. If you consider that we spend half of our money eating outside of the home, then it should be safe to say that Americans get most of their calories eating out, right?

However, in a current study published in Nutrition Journal, Americans only get 30% of their calorie intake from dining out. Here is some of the data from the study, some of it just might surprise you.

Eating at home.

1.     Americans get 63% – 70% of their calories from supermarkets and convenience store locations.

2.     Americans get 17% – 26% of their calories from restaurants.

3.     We get 1% of our calorie intake from vending machines.

4.     We get 1.2% of our calories from fast food establishments in the forms of soda, energy drinks and sports drinks.

5.     School kids and adolescents get 10% of their calorie intake from school meals.

6.     School kids also get 2.2% of calorie intake from pizza that they eat away from home. Adolescents get 3.4% of their calories from eating pizza away from home.

After reading this data, it should make everyone realize that if you want to eat healthier, then you have to focus on both eating out and eating at home.

Learn About These Couple Have Foods That Could Death

Food is mandatory for us to stay alive. However, not all foods are good in regard to our health, some could even cause a person health problems or kill a person. This is why you really need to learn about a few of the foods that you should not eat. However, remember we are just going to talk about a couple of the foods that can prove fatal, but there are others so if you are ever concerned about a food being poisonous check to make sure it is safe to eat before putting it in your mouth.

The first food we are going to talk about is mushrooms. Of course, many mushrooms are fine to eat and taste great. However, some mushrooms like death caps, autumn skullcaps and fool’s mushrooms are poisonous thus you should not eat them. These mushrooms can cause symptoms like vomiting, diarrhea, extreme thirst, stomach pains. If you digest small amounts of these mushrooms you can get medical help for treatment, but if you consume large doses of them it can cause liver, cardiac, kidney problems and could even eventually cause death.

These type of mushrooms can be dangerous to eat.

The next food that could cause you major problems or possibly death is Rhubarb leaves. Have you ever wondered why rhubarb recipes always say to use only the stalks of the rhubarb plant? Well, this is because the leaves can cause seizures, breathing problems and put a person in a coma. In some instances, they can even do damage to your kidneys and cause death. Although, there have only been a few cases of someone dying from digesting rhubarb.

Beware, Rhubarb leaves can be harmful when digested.

Lastly, let’s talk about shellfish. Many people are allergic to shellfish and suffer from symptoms like swelling, hives, itching, tummy pains and wheezing when they eat it. However, a person can also have a major allergic reaction to shellfish, which is called Anaphylaxis. This kind of allergic reaction impairs breathing and the person will need to get an epinephrine injection, immediately. In addition, a severe allergic reaction to shellfish can be deadly if the person doesn’t get an injection or help quickly.

As stated above, the foods listed in this article are only a few of the foods that can cause devastation to your body and possibly death. In the end, if you’re ever in doubt about the food who are going to eat, check to make sure it is safe to eat.
